2020 was not what we unexpected. The globe stopped, halted by something microscopic but powerful. Family members and friends were struck down, livelihoods damaged, mental health and wealth pressured. Many have had to hunker down and isolate for long periods of time, hiding fearfully from an invisible menace.

But, at times of great darkness, stress and despair there is still opportunity for light and creativity. Swathes of people, bound to their homes, took the lock-down as an opportunity to stop, to testify and to create. Whilst restricted by space they used their imaginations to travel, to explore and to express.

Behind the clouds the sun is always present. Sometimes it takes a positive act of creation to rend a gap for the light to shine through. 2020 will be remembered not only for the pandemic but the outpouring of creative energy and exposition.

This collection of tracks is only one single drop contributed to that significant ocean of positive expression. Each individual drop a unique and personal gift to the whole.
